The Town of Huntersville and community sponsors Carolina Home Remodeling and Bach to Rock-Huntersville will host the third annual Veterans Day Celebration. Activities will include live music by Tim Cook Band, airbrushed tattoos, cards for veterans, a parade at 10 a.m. and more. Parade applications are now available at the Huntersville Parks & Recreation Office, 105 Gilead Road-third floor. The department is also looking for photos from the local community for the “Wall of Honor” that will be located at the Veterans Day Celebration. If you have a picture of past/present veterans, please drop them off to the Parks & Recreation Department.
