Enjoy the annual Revolutionary War weekend and experience the Battle of Charlotte with historic encampments and a battle each day. Learn why Charlotte was called “The Hornet’s Nest of Rebellion.” Visit the oldest log cabin in Mecklenburg County which stood in the very spot Lord Cornwallis’ army attempted to siege Charlottetown. 10 am-4 pm both days with a battle reenactment at 2 pm.
