In just one year, One Health has helped welcome more than 1,000 babies into the world at Atrium Lake Norman Hospital, a milestone that reflects not only the hospital’s rapid growth, but also the confidence women throughout the region have placed in their local healthcare team.
Since opening its doors, the hospital has quickly become a trusted destination for women’s healthcare through the partnership between One Health and Atrium Health. Physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, technicians, support staff, and administrators have worked together to create an environment built on clinical excellence, personalized attention, and convenient access to services close to home.
For Rebecca Hobbs, DO, FACOG, Chief of Women’s Services and Chief of Growth & Integration for One Health, the number represents far more than a statistic. “The trust our community has placed in us during our first year is truly humbling,” Dr. Hobbs says. “Welcoming more than 1,000 babies is an incredible reflection of the confidence people have in our team, and it highlights the dedication, expertise, and compassion of everyone involved. Every member of our organization and each partner has contributed to building something truly meaningful.”
