A Musical Meet-Cute
“I grew up in Ohio and moved to Nashville in 2003 to attend Belmont University, where I earned my degree in business administration. While working at Sony Music Nashville in 2009, I met my wife, Cassidy. I was in sales, and she was in marketing for the New York office covering the Nashville market. We were married in 2013, just weeks before I finished my MBA at Vanderbilt University. While I enjoyed the music business, I knew I wanted a career that better aligned with our long-term goals as we planned to start a family. That decision led me into the insurance industry, where I discovered a passion for leadership and sales. In 2015, we moved to Cornelius, where we’ve built our life together and raised our three children: Elle, Luke, and Autumn.”
Purpose and Passion
“We’re there for people during some of the hardest moments of their lives, and that makes the work matter. Winning contests and accolades is great, but what fulfills me most is watching a team come together around a shared vision and purpose. Helping people grow personally and professionally is what makes this work meaningful to me. When a team believes in what they’re doing and supports one another, that’s when real success happens. I am grateful to be part of such a dedicated and compassionate work family.”
Where My Heart Lives
“My favorite title is ‘Dad’ … nothing has shaped me more than becoming a father. My family is my greatest inspiration. They are the joy that drives me. Outside of work, I love being outdoors with my kids golfing, fishing, and camping together. We spend a lot of time at our cabin near Boone. The quiet of the mountains gives us space to reset, reconnect, and remember what really matters.”
Your Miracle Is in the Mundane
“Success is built through small, daily habits. One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was leaving behind a familiar career and community. Mentorship helped me navigate that uncertainty and taught me the value of patience and discipline. I’ve learned that timing is everything. Just like a crockpot meal can’t be rushed in an air fryer, some things in life take time to come together the right way.”
Anchored In Faith
“I believe I’m never walking through life’s challenges alone. My faith keeps me grounded. It reminds me to trust God’s plan, even when I can’t see the path ahead, and to remain present, enjoy the journey, and keep showing up every day with purpose.”
