Nominations for the 2nd Annual Lake Norman Woman of the Year officially open Monday, May 11.

After a sold-out inaugural event, we are excited to once again celebrate the women who lead, serve, and inspire across Lake Norman.

Nominee Guidelines:
Nominees must live, work, or volunteer in the Lake Norman area.

From all nominations received, the Lake Norman Woman of the Year Planning Committee will select the Top 10 women to be featured on LakeNormanWoman.com for community voting.

The Top 4 finalists will each be invited to the Gala with one guest, where they will be recognized during the evening’s celebration. The 2026 Lake Norman Woman of the Year will be announced live at the Gala.

Featuring: Silent auctions, the world-famous wine toss, dinner, dancing, and a celebration of extraordinary women in our community

The 2026 Gala will also support Foster Love Adopt Repeat, our nonprofit partner serving children and families in foster care.

Previous Top 10 nominees are not eligible for nomination this year. All nominations submitted will be reviewed by the Lake Norman Woman of the Year Planning Committee.
