2026 Lake Norman Woman of the Year Gala Nonprofit Partner

We are proud to announce that Foster Love Adopt Repeat (FLAR) has been selected as the nonprofit partner for the 2nd Annual Lake Norman Woman of the Year Gala, taking place Friday, September 25, 2026 at The Brawley Estate in Mooresville.

The Lake Norman Woman of the Year Gala is an evening dedicated to celebrating the women who lead, serve, and inspire across our community, while also supporting organizations that make a meaningful impact locally. In 2026, that impact will benefit Foster Love Adopt Repeat.

Founded in 2018 by Jeremy and Alyse Breger, Foster Love Adopt Repeat (FLAR) is a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that no child walks through foster care alone and no family feels unsupported. Guided by a simple but powerful mission—to raise awareness, provide support, and meet the needs of children in foster care and the families who care for them. FLAR comes alongside children and caregivers with compassion, practical help, and meaningful connections.

Through programs like First Night Bags and First Night Pizza, youth programs including Thrive, Driven, and Rise, and caregiver-centered support such as Foster Your Soul, support groups, and scholarships, FLAR meets tangible needs while creating spaces for hope, healing, and community.

The 2026 Gala also marks a special milestone as Lake Norman Woman Magazine celebrates 20 years of highlighting the remarkable women of our community.

Guests can once again expect an unforgettable evening at The Brawley Estate filled with community, celebration, and purpose as we honor extraordinary women and raise funds to support Foster Love Adopt Repeat.

Donate to Foster Love Adopt Repea 100% of these donations goes directly to FLAR’s mission.
