Alicia’s impact reaches far beyond Lake Norman—she is a business owner, faith leader, and global advocate whose child sponsorship programs have provided clean water, food, and education for over 250 children worldwide. Locally, she’s built partnerships with 16+ nonprofits and continues to mentor countless others with her honor, vision, and generosity.

Alicia Gibson
Alicia Gibson, wife to John Gibson celebrating 23 years this November and mom to Gavin, Hilton, and Elle, has called Lake Norman home for over a decade. She is the Managing Partner of IXG Consulting Group and Co-Founder of AEI Global, a nonprofit equipping ministries worldwide to expand their impact. Alicia also serves as Finance Director and Global Missions Director at The Cove Church. Passionate about using her gifts to serve both locally and globally, she finds deep joy in bringing hope, health, education, and the message of Jesus to others—and inviting people into that mission with her.

Debbie Dalton
Speaker, Advocate, Founder The Hunter Dalton HDLife Foundation
Debbie Dalton’s life was forever changed when she lost her 23-year-old son Hunter to an accidental overdose on December 4, 2016. Hunter’s death shocked his family, friends, and community. Hunter’s legacy of unconditional love inspired Debbie and her husband Randy to start the Hunter Dalton HDLife Foundation. The foundation focuses on saving lives through prevention and awareness regarding recreational drug use, especially in light of the introduction of illicit Fentanyl to today’s drug culture. Debbie has turned her heartbreak into a life of advocacy, involving speaking to thousands of students and civic groups, working with local law enforcement agencies as well as state officials including Governor Stein.

Elizabeth Lavan
Elizabeth is a dedicated small business owner whose heart for the Lake Norman community shines through in everything she does. From sponsoring major events like the Tawba Walk to creating a warm, welcoming space at Nina’s Boutique in Antiquity, Elizabeth’s store is more than a shop—it’s a community haven. She supports local schools, nonprofits, and neighbors with selfless generosity and quiet leadership. Whether offering a ride, a snack, or a safe place to land, Elizabeth uplifts everyone around her. Her compassion and commitment make her a true standout in our community.

Rabbi Becca Diamond
For the past three years, Rabbi Becca Diamond and her husband Rabbi David Jaffe have served as co-rabbis of Temple Kol Tikvah of Lake Norman, a Reform synagogue in Davidson. In her work at TKT, Rabbi Becca seeks to create a strong sense of belonging among the burgeoning Jewish community of Lake Norman, particularly in the face of a nationwide spike in antisemitism. Rabbi Becca also serves as Associate Chaplain and Campus Rabbi at Davidson College, where she has led a Jewish identity trip to Poland for Jewish students. Rabbi Becca is from New Jersey, and resides in Cornelius.

Alyssa Roccanti
Alyssa Roccanti is an accomplished real estate agent with over 17 years of experience in the Lake Norman area. Known for her exceptional service, she has helped over 400 families find their dream homes and consistently ranks among the area’s top agents. Alyssa is deeply committed to her community, actively sponsoring events in Monteith Park and The Hamptons, and volunteering at her sons’ schools. With a passion for connecting people and empowering them through homeownership, she’s a trusted advisor, a devoted wife and mother, and an inspiring leader who’s always looking to give back to the community she calls home.

Amber Monteith
Amber Monteith is the award-winning, record-setting, founder and CEO of BAAS Construction, a woman-owned company building luxury custom homes across Lake Norman and Charlotte. A licensed general contractor, she’s known for her precision, integrity, and hands-on leadership, leading a team of 10 full-time employees and hundreds of subcontractors with the same grit and grace she brings to raising her four daughters, for whom the company is named. Amber is redefining what it means to be a builder—raising the bar for quality, transparency, and trust, while paving the way for more women to lead with confidence in construction.

Cristina Grossu Biffle
Cristina Grossu Biffle is a dynamic mom, businesswoman, realtor with multiple accolades, and most recently co-pilot of her and husband Greg Biffle’s helicopter—used to deliver food, water and satellite kits to victims of Hurricane Helene in remote mountain areas back in Fall/Winter of 2024. Cristina was born in London, England and mainly grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii – relocating to Mooresville, NC when her parents found Lake Norman as their retirement haven. She’s mom to young Ryder (born 2020) and step-mom to Emma (now 14), and comfortably balances parenting with entrepreneurship, often mentoring others in her field. Cristina enjoys travels frequently—including trips to the Bahamas—runs successful multiple start-up ventures, and shares her home with their four beloved dogs. A savvy realtor, hands-on rescuer, and devoted family woman, she embodies leadership, compassion, and zest for life.

Holly Joy McCabe
Holly Joy McCabe is a Licensed Somatic Trauma Therapist and serial wellness entrepreneur. With over 20 years of experience in mind-body medicine, she has dedicated her life to helping women heal from trauma, reconnect with their bodies, and reclaim their happiness, confidence, and strength. She is the creator of The Satori Method, a brain and body-based process for deep and lasting transformation that helped her own healing process from chronic illness and trauma.
Holly is also the founder of a vitamin and beauty company Zen In A Bottle, Brain Body Speak, and Confidence Coalition—all platforms built on the belief that true success begins with inner healing. As a speaker, podcast host, author and teacher her collective mission is to change the world with nervous system healing and tools.

Jennifer Quick
Jennifer Quick, wife to Brian Quick celebrating 12 years of marriage, mom to Cooper and Beckett. — Jennifer has called Lake Norman her home for the last four years. She is a math teacher at Lake Norman High School and serves as the Varsity Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive Head Coach as well. With a passion for swimming, she also serves in the Lake Norman Swim League as the Head Coach for the Winslow Bay Wahoos. Jennifer also serves on the worship team at The Cove Church alongside her husband who plays drums. Passionate about using her gifts to serve her community, she finds great joy in building up and leading the next generation to be amazing in their futures. Jennifer is deeply committed to leading the way with serving, loving, and creating a positive environment for everyone she connects with.

Sharon Groff
Sharon Groff is the founder and CEO of Sharon Rachel Interiors, a boutique interior architecture firm proudly rooted in the Lake Norman community. With over 15 years in a male-dominated industry, she leads high-end renovations, new builds, and has developed her own wallpaper and textile line. A mother of two, author, and mentor, Sharon is deeply committed to helping women succeed in spaces where they’ve historically been underrepresented. Her work is driven by purpose, creativity, and integrity — and her mission is to design not just homes, but lives filled with beauty, courage, and lasting impact.
