Justin Ckezepis isn’t just a businessman—he’s a storyteller, a connector, and a community builder who’s worn a lot of hats and made each one fit just right. From law school to the broadcast booth, and now to the publisher’s desk, his journey is rooted in passion, purpose, and a deep love for Lake Norman.

“I’ve always believed in showing up and doing the work,” Justin smiles. “Whether it’s helping someone buy a home, sharing their story on air, or celebrating the people who shape our community—my goal is to add value.”

A Lake Norman native, Justin started his professional journey in real estate law after graduating from Appalachian State and earning his law degree in 2015. But the pull of storytelling never left him. In 2023, he took over WSIC Radio and launched Good Morning LKN, a vibrant, locally focused morning show he co-hosts with Mamie Lee, Lake Norman Woman Magazine’s Editor-In-Chief. The show quickly became a hub for real conversation, hometown pride, and a healthy dose of good humor.

Then, in 2024, Justin stepped into another new role—as publisher of Lake Norman Woman Magazine. “This magazine is about celebrating real women doing real things,” he says. “We’re not just telling stories—we’re honoring legacies, lifting voices, and showcasing what makes this community shine.”

But his biggest motivation? His family. “My wife, Demi, and I love raising our kids here … we want them to grow up in a place where people still say hello at the grocery store and believe in hard work and kindness,” he shares.

Justin brings the same energy to every project: forward momentum, faith in people, and a desire to leave things better than he found them. “At the end of the day, if I can make someone’s story heard, help a neighbor, or spark an idea—then I’ve done my job.”
